By Sunil Sharma
The snow glitters under a cold
sun,
the sheets of solid snow
full of tiny crystals
along the sides of the roads,
each particle shines there
as part of a complex pattern,
some, on the other side of
the accumulated piles
look like
the marbles they played
when young
in a small town of a distant India
where snow was only a picture
in a book.
Snow!
It connects geographies of
mind and heart
and
cultures
in a single instant.
Crystallized topographies
out there in the open.
